Me and Jette start a new project: telling about cultural events in Preston and surroundings.

In this way we can know Preston and the possibilities that this city offers. First visiting the Harris Museum and the Animals in art, temporal exhibition about animals have been painting or sculptoring during the centuries. Second visiting local pubs and the Indoor Market. Third watching a play in the local theater and having interviews with the main actors and actresses.

We really enjoyed this week doing our programme and we decided to celebrate the end of our first week abroad in an Italian and Turkish restaurant!

First little trip in Manchester that in a second time it has become our second city. Especially for me and Jette because we are doing some projects over there.

I like Manchester, full of contradictions and peolple. The CSV Manchester Office is in Tib Street, close to Picadilly Square. I still have difficulties to understand english people and I need traslation from my adventure mates! In this day we ate on a grass lawn, taking advantage of one of the last sunny and warm day in England!

First week: understand our new environment... The city of Preston, the CSV Office, our job, our new world!

Preston has got a lot of parks and a river and a canal. Me and Jette, danish girl, we are very happy. We spent our first morning exploring.

I've turned up in Preston one Friday night, some time ago. It was raining and my first contact with England was the John Lennon Airport!
